Little Paper Stories

This is the first comic drawn just using words and tons of paper napkins.
Here's a selection of the 200 stories you can read here.

“Rock–paper–scissors”

There are people who cover their mouths with their hands when they yawn and do a “rock”. Other people, however, cover their mouths doing “paper”.

Paula: "The woman who is convinced that somewhere in the world there must be someone who covers his mouth doing "scissors".
She hasn’t found him yet, but she searches tirelessly.

* Achoo! Achoo! Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!
Achoo! Achoo! Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!
Achoo! Achoo! Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!
Achoo! Achoo! Achoo! Achoo! Chajá!
Anabella: "The woman who was tired of the monotony of sneezing"
* She beat a Guinness record with 19 sneezes in less than 1 hour.

His parents should have named him "Punctuality Dominguez", although they weren’t very off. Dart: "The man who does not let you know when he is arriving by using round numbers. Instead, he sends you a text message saying: I´ll be there in 7 minutes, expect me in 12 minutes or I´ll show up in around 23 minutes. And what’s the most remarkable is that he is there in 7 minutes, you can expect him in 12 minutes and he shows up in around 23 minutes".

Ana: "The woman who asks someone she’s met for the first time, “What would you love to do?” instead of “What do you do?”. She doesn't ask, “Where do you live?” but “Where would you love to live?”
She was convinced that those answers were way more important when it came to knowing a person."
Ana gets it, thought someone passing by.

"Those things after waking up and before going to sleep."
There is a conversation between a woman and a man in the elevator.
She – I can´t stand romantic comedy endings
He – Watch them halfway, where the protagonists still have a hard time, like in real life. Things like that exist.

Lola: "The cat who always wants to be in the middle, even when you're on the computer."

This story is hard to translate, but basically, the idea is that in the south of Argentina, people don´t pronounce the last “s” on the words (they “eat” them), while in the capital city, there are people who add the “s” to words that don´t need it, just in case.
And this is how Maria José and José Mariá are a couple that complements each other in every sense. All the “s” she swallows, he catches and adds them to every word.

- In life, he did what he wanted, and in his death too. -
Atilio: "The man who wanted a park bench in his name installed in a park the day he died. He wanted to spare his family and friends from having to go visit him in a cemetery; Instead, they would be able to remember him while reading a book and sitting with him.

The value of an autograph relies not only on who does it but on how much passion one saves it, thought Santiago: "The man who happily left with his Fellini"
Note: Fellini is one of the main characters of “Macanudo”, a comic strip of an Argentinian cartoonist known as “Liniers”

Some people optimize toothpaste;
others the shampoo or the mayonnaise.
He optimizes routes.
Renato: "The man who knows where to get on, in order to get off near the staircase that leaves him near the exit that brings him into the street which is closest to where he needs to go. That´s the way he lives, shortening routes, taking shortcuts, and gaining seconds without taking a step more, nor less”.

One day the wind confirmed Grandpa Carlos was right: “The man who believed that the day that such a strong wind stopped blowing in that far-off town, more than one person would fall forward.”
